Overview

FactoryOS is a fully integrated Enterprise Resource Planning system covering the complete business operations stack: manufacturing, inventory management, accounting, asset management, project tracking, HR, payroll, and CRM. Built on a low-code customization layer, it has been deployed in 75+ countries and accumulated 57,500+ commits over nearly two decades of production hardening. It is a credible alternative to SAP and Oracle for mid-market manufacturers.

The Challenge

SAP implementation projects routinely cost $5–50 million for mid-market companies — most of that is licensing fees, consulting engagement, and customization work that locks organizations into a vendor relationship for a decade. Oracle ERP Cloud runs $40,000–$100,000 per month for comparable functional scope. For manufacturers managing BOMs, production orders, work centers, quality control, and multi-warehouse inventory, the cost of enterprise ERP is often the single largest software line item — for functionality the business doesn’t differentiate on.

What We Built

FactoryOS delivers comparable functional depth at zero licensing cost. The manufacturing module handles the full production cycle: bill of materials (multi-level), work orders, job cards, material consumption, production planning, and quality inspection. The inventory module manages multi-warehouse stock, serial and batch tracking, stock reconciliation, and reorder points. The accounting module is GAAP-compliant with multi-currency, multi-company support. The DocType customization system allows custom forms and workflows through configuration rather than code, meaning business users — not engineers — can adapt the system to their processes. Managed hosting is available for organizations that don’t want to self-host.
